We, team vibe, has once again won the streetdance championship but not just in asia... in EUROPE. We are not bringing home just 1 trophy, we are bringing 3. It may not be gold, it may not be 1st place.. but we are champions, and there are witnesses to that. We have no control of the results but we have control over our destiny. We are athletes, dancers of God and we fought til the very end. What we gained here is more than just gold, its priceless. We are bringing silver and bronze but we have more than those tangible things.
Spread the word. Its all for God's glory. We maybe $12,000 in debt but HE is smiling on us now because we know we did it for him alone.

Last year, we won the Asia Pacific Dance Championships in Kuala, Lumpur Malaysia (July 15, 2007). That achievement allowed us to not only showcase the Filipino talent that we believed is world-class, but we we're also able to connect and collaborate with other dance artists from the different Asian regions.
This year, we have been chosen to compete in the 2008 World Streetdance Championship to be held in Amsterdam this Nov 17-22, 2008. This in an opportunity for us again to share and showcase that the the Filipinos are richly blessed in field of dance.
As we start our fund raising campaign, we need your help. Pls support us thru financial means, blogging, reposting, praying, forwarding this message to companies concerned and supporting our fund raising events. As we need to raise US$16,000 for our airfare and visa application.

Ricky Carranza (a.k.a. 3-Ki Rick) is a highly demanded and respectable hiphop/funk teacher in dance institutions worldwide. He specializes in Old School Funk, Locking and Popping, and Hiphop New Style (Hiphop New School).
From his vast experience as an urban dancer, 3-Ki Rick has performed and taught for many years in television, theatres and various shows, transmitting his passion and displaying his spectacular personally-honed style to different continents from Asia to America and now in Europe.
3-Ki Rick has taught and performed in Japan, in Belgium, Philippines, Germany, England, Los Angeles, USA, Vancouver, Canada, Slovakia, Finland etc… In 2001, he founded the Nexus Funkmasters in Florence, Italy. He collaborates with Barletta Art Academy, in southern Italy, as Artistic Director, and currently teaches at Footlight Studio, Helsinki, Finland.
3-Ki performs on stages and theatres from time to time. He makes choreography for singers/artists for shows, concerts, dance competitions and does panel or jury work for dance contests. He occasionally conducts stages, masterclasses, and workshops all over the world. 3-Ki loves working with young people and is well known for his charismatic and efficient teaching skill.

Members of ViBE Dance Studio faculty recently went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to compete in the Hiphop Division and won the gold medal. Here's the article from From: The Star Malaysia
